How to be present – an incident

So there I was waiting in line…
My turn came…
I gave cash first…
Got my petrol tank filled…
Took my bike a little ahead…
The petrol guy shouts from behind…
Sir, money?
I looked at him with strong eye contact…
He fidgeted, with a shaky eye contact back…
I kept looking…
His face went null…
I said, “I gave it already” …
Okay, he said…

He knew one thing – that most people are absent-minded when filling petrol. If he could try this trick on someone, they may pay him double because most people do not remember if they paid. They live in their head.

Are you missing out on details? If yes,
It’s costing you.
